I'll admit that when I first started my journey toward an online bachelor's degree, I felt both nervous and excited. I couldn't help but wonder how exploring a virtual classroom would compare to the conventional in-person experience; it was both exciting and intimidating. But as the first week of school progressed, I was fascinated by how the virtual learning environment easily connected both students and teachers. Within one week, covering Module 0 and 1, our cohort engaged in a wide range of learning activities that deepened and broadened our comprehension of the world of the digital classroom. We were given an orientation session, which acted as our entry point into this new experience, before we even started studying the course material.
